Today we are happy to announce that we settled on the final meeple artwork. We have seen samples from our manufactures and after a little fine tuning here and there we are happy now. Laser cutting makes this all possible, the traditional carving methods are sadly too limited these days. We did some digital mockups for you as we are still waiting for the colored wood meeple samples to arrive here in the office.
Below you see the final shapes for Soldiers / Legionnaire, Ships, the Fortress, Monuments, the Trade Post (which will lay flat on the map) and the cube markers that are used for tracking progress etc. on the map, charts and player boards.
Below is the color theme. Please note that the final colored meeples will have way more punch as the colors below. The semi-gloss finish ads a lot more depth as the digital mockups can portray.
