Dear friends, supporters and grognards!
You heard and followed the sound of drums when the troops of the left wing of the Army of the North marched towards this tiny little crossroad in Belgium.
We got funded in an impressive manner and you already unlocked all Stretchgoals. As you know, we are constantly working on the graphic files in the background. Today we received the first samples of some elements of Quatre Bras 1815 (and, by the way, of BATTLE COMMANDER VOL. 1).
The moment when our graphic designer sends in the first sketches is always very exciting. It is even more exciting to track and receive the shipment of the samples. What can I say? I am thrilled. The most important game components are the unit counters, and as you know, we have developed a "new" way of producing them. Pre-rounded corners, printed on white cardboard (which gives the colors a brighter touch), no nibs when punching out. For QB / Wartenburg and the update kit of Eylau 1807 I have great news for you: the counters will be a bit thicker and they have a fantastic surface. They will be very durable. I am also very happy with the maps & tables and the maps. We will not only maintain our quality level for the components, but even improve it.
Enjoy the pictures (by the way, regards from Marc, our graphic artist, the samples are now on the way to him and he promised to take much nicer pictures than I am able to make LOL):
